Extended Service Plan
Stuff happens. Sure, we’d love to see our Harley-Davidson motorcycles in New Jersey run for a million miles needing nothing more than regular oil changes and gasoline, but we all know that’s the stuff dreams are made of. Motorcycles are machines and machines sometimes break. But you can protect yourself against costly repairs with our extended service plan. It’s worth the cost, and it’s worth the peace of mind.

Expense Reimbursement Package

• Rental Reimbursement- $75 per day up to $750 for a rental vehicle charges when a covered breakdown occurs.
• Travel/Lodging Reimbursement- For meals and lodging of $150 per day up to $450 per occurrence in case your trip is interrupted by a covered breakdown.
• Towing Reimbursement- Up to $200 per occurrence gets you to a Harley-Davidson dealer.

Mechanical Breakdown Coverage

• Nationwide Harley-Davidson Repair Location Assistance- Ready to assist when a breakdown occurs. Our Harley-Davidson Service Center will direct you to the nearest Harley-Davidson dealer for repairs.
• Locked In Repair Costs- All you will ever pay is a $50 deductible per visit for the covered mechanical repairs. Plus, there is no deductible for anything covered under the Expense Reimbursement Package or the Optional Tire & Wheel Coverage.
• The Only Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan- All repairs performed by experts at your Harley-Davidson dealership using genuine Harley-Davidson parts.

Optional Tire & Wheel Coverage

• Tire & Wheel Coverage- Will pay to replace your tires and/or wheels if damaged due to contact with road hazard.

Additional Benefits

• Future Contract Guarantee- Allows you to extend your contract coverage for up to 5 additional years (subject to underwriting guidelines).
• Transfer Your Contract for Free- If you sell your Harley-Davidson motorcycle, you can transfer you contract for free to the next owner. This is an excellent way to increase your motorcycle’s resale value!

The Harley-Davidson Extended Service Plan includes our Extended Reimbursement Package that provides reimbursements for rental vehicles, pick-up and towing charges, as well as lodging and meals if you are stranded away from home. Also included upon your discretion are the Optional Tire & Wheels Coverage, which protects you from road hazards and Mechanical Breakdown Coverage, which covers nearly every part on your motorcycle.

The Expense Reimbursement Package and Optional Tire & Wheel Coverage start the same day as your factory warranty, where the Mechanical Breakdown Coverage begins the day after your factory warranty expires. Used motorcycle coverage begins the same day the motorcycle and contract are purchased. The coverage must be acquired before you factory warranty ends. This protection can even be included in your monthly payment. Coverages continue for the life of the contract.

Repair costs are continually increasing, so the future costs of one repair to your vehicle could easily exceed the cost of Harley-Davidson’s Extended Service Plan. For covered repairs, all you pay is a $50 deductible per visit and there is no deductible for anything covered under the Expense Reimbursement Package and Optional Tire & Wheel Coverage.

If you plan to resell your Harley-Davidson motorcycle before the coverage ends, you have the option of transferring the remaining coverage to the next owner. This feature can help you get the highest possible resale price.
